EC-IC Bypass for Cerebral Aneurysms, Skull base lesions; Eric Nussbaum, MD -Part 2

SUMMARY: Dr. Nussbaum describes his experience in managing 2700 aneurysms to his referral center specifically those which cannot be clipped or coiled and require creative treatments with low risk.  These are complex or giant aneurysms involving multiple vessels. He believes in choosing  the simplist treatment with the highest outcome and lowest risk for these patients with numerous case examples. He finishes by showing cases in which a skull base lesion is found and how EC-IC Bypass procedures can benefit the treatment of lesions in the skull base.  This review is an excellent example of using creative, intelligent judgment rather than mechanical solutions to solve complex problems.  (69 minutes) spinal disorders
